History

The Bay Area Chapter of APPA (BayAPPA), the first APPA/PCAPPA Chapter of California, was formed in January 2015. Its formation was based on the growing need to provide APPA / PCAPPA’s knowledge and resources at a local level. In its first year, the chapter hosted two very successful events. With the objective to make professional development and enrichment readily available to local members. BayAPPA aims to leverage technology to connect its members and to keep them informed of the latest practices and trends in the facilities industry.

The founding board members of BayAPPA were: Winnie Kwofie – Founding Board President, Joe Fullerton Founding Board Vice President, Patty Anderson Founding Board Business Partner Liaison and Melinda Nelson Founding Board Business Partner Advisor.
